For over 35 years, the name SICCE has been synonymous of technologically advanced research, development, design and production of synchronous motor pumps, applied to Aquarium, Garden, Pool and Draining sectors.
1973
Out of Mr. Paolo Pettenon’s entrepreneurial intuition, Sicce is born: Italy’s first leading company in aquarium heaters.
1975
The growing need to cover new markets urges Sicce to widen its’ product range, producing recirculation pumps.
1980
Sicce introduces synchronous motor technology, putting F42 aquarium internal filter and P32 pump on the market. This innovative technology guarantees up to 50% energy saving.
1990
Sicce presents Micra, the first recirculation pump with compact dimensions and elevated performances.
The company registers maximum expansion on the global scene and earns its’ first patent.
2002
Sicce’s laboratories apply electronic control to pump motors, reaching elevated performances, unique on the market.
In order to respond to growing production demands, Sicce moves, from its’ historical location in San Pietro in Gù, to the new, spacious establishments in Pozzoleone, that occupy a 540.000 square feet surface, of which 300.000 square feet are indoors.
2006
Sicce Italia S.r.l. is created: a concrete response to the growing demands of the national market. The company guarantees excellent service to shops, through capillary distribution on the Italian territory.
2008
Sicce celebrates 35 year of activity on occasion of Nuremberg’s Interzoo, Europe’s most important fair in the sector.
2009
Sicce, always on the cutting edge in Aquarium and Garden technologies, earns three new patents: CO2 LIFE, the new C02 system for aquarium plants; VOYAGER, the complete range of stream pumps and GREEN RESET, the external pressurized filtration system for ponds.
2010
For the distribution of products and the diffusion of Sicce’s trademark, SICCE USA is founded.
